week five: so pinteresting

by - 9:30 AM

I've never been good at coming up with a Christmas list, let me rephrase that: I've never been able to stick to a list I come up with--when I see something I love, I buy it. It's a charming quality I inherited from my mother and it means that my friends and family are constantly struggling to keep up with me/my wallet/my closet.

As I've grown older, my tastes have matured and have become more, i'll admit, expen$ive. This wish-list is no different. If, in another world, there was a Santa that worked exclusively off of Pinterest, then I'd be a lucky girl. Alas, I'll have to settle for a virtual board of presents.

1. Alexander Wang 'Rocco' tote  2. Kate Spade 'emma book clutch'  3. Nikon D90 DSLR  4. adorable tissue paper votives  5. Miss Sixty 'Pancho' boots  6. J. Crew 'Oeuf' toy eiffel tower  7. DV by Dolce Vita 'Wyatt' blue suede booties

To be fair, I went ahead and bought myself the Nikon d90 in preparation for Blogging 2.0: living in Paris. But besides that, I'm keeping all of these items on a permanent do-not-buy status, in hopes that Santa may find it in his heart to bring me a few choice picks.

Love it? Hate it?

  4. #1 is on my list too, that is, if I don't buy it for myself first. I have the exact same problem!

  6. Haha this is brilliant. How sad for my bank account it is when I realise that as I grow older, and the less money I have in my bank, the more expensive items I crave :)

Great list! The Rocco is brilliant. Sadly, mine was destroyed after months of throwing it about Europe. I still use it but sadly some of the studs on the base have fallen out (trust me, going through security scanners at the airport is difficult when the studs are missing ha!!)

Great blog girl, keep it up!
