friday finds: fancy faux fur

Inspired by the likes of Rachel Zoe and the Olsen sisters, I've been on the lookout for a fur vest. Countless thrifting trips went unsuccessful, as I sifted through aisle after isle of puffer down vests, with no a fur vest in sight. Things got so bad that I considered taking the sleeves of a fur jacket I could find, any fur jacket I could find...

Suddenly, last weekend, the thrifting gods smiled upon me and offered up a lovely {and reversible} fur vest with light pink lining. Too good! Despite the suddenly-summer turn that DC weather has taken, I'm planning to wear this baby out on the town.







This outfit: J. Crew tartan button-up with ruffled collar, Express black skinny jeans, Nine West leather boots, thrifted fur vest. 



Bonus: even my baby cat loves it.

    The faux fur is very chic and I love its pairing with the J Crew top - adorable!

    Love the fur vest! I got one a few months back & my dogs love to lay on it to. I have to make sure to put it out of reach or they try to steal it!
