Harvard won't be impressed that you aced History of Polka Dots.

There's nothing that I love better than a great textile. Reading about textiles comes in as a close second, and eating Greek yogurt slides into third place.

This all explains why I was so jazzed when I opened up an email from my boss this morning, with a link to a book entitled, "Why do you call them Polka Dots?" This 13-page book dates back to 1918 and is available online thanks to the magic that is OpenLibrary.

File this one under TMYKAT: the more you know about textiles.
